What Not To Do - Frames

Some search engines don't like frames and may have trouble indexing framed sites.

That aside, even if all your framed pages do get indexed, the user could end up going directly to the framed page rather the frameset, and may lose access to site navigation, menus, etc. which would otherwise be seen in one of the other frames.

On the whole, we think that it's probably best not to use frames at all.

However if you must use frames, then:
  1. Fill Out the <NOFRAMES> tag.

  2. In the <NOFRAMES> tag, include descriptive text and links into the main sections of your site (do not just put "click here if your browser doesn't support frames").
