Review
Kanoodle is one of the larger (and better) pay-per-click search engines delivering tens of millions of searches every month from their own site, and from other sites. (Pay-per-click means that you place bids on relevant keywords (the more you bid the higher up the results you come), and only pay a person clicks on your search term).
At the time of writing, minimum bids for new advertisers now start at $0.05 per click, and go up in $0.01 increments.
The account management area is very clear, and we found it easy to get lots of keywords in, manage our listings, monitor our activity, etc.
We also understand they can provide help on getting set up to new advertisers under a new program (we signed up before they had this).
Just like most other large pay per clicks, Kanoodle does have relevancy rules about what keywords you can bid on. But, we liked their rules: We felt that we had a a good degree of choice about our listings and did not get a nasty feeling of being bossed around.
Also on the rules: Another thing we liked (for affiliate marketing purposes), although we haven't used this feature yet, is that their rules seems to allow direct linking to affiliate-link URLs. If you want to try this, we recommend that check with affiliate programs you participate in before doing this, as some affiliate programs may not allow it!
Another neature feature that Kanoodle offers: the top 3 bidders on a keyword get a free share of the banner impressions above their keyword listings. We think (but are not absolutely sure) that this probably only applies on Kanoodle's own site (and not on other sites that display Kanoodle results) but even so, it's a pretty nice extra.
Conclusion
We haven't been using Kanoodle very long, but so far, are very happy with their service.
In summary, based on our experience, we highly recommend Kanoodle.
